Rapper Lil Boosie Says He Wrote 1,118 Songs While Serving His Time in Prison

For those of you who haven't seen or heard the news all around the music industry and social media, one of the big trending topics this past week was the release of Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie. The native rapper was sentenced to prison in 2009 for drug related charges, and was finally released from Louisiana State Penitentiary March 5. Soon after his release his record label, Trill Entertainment Records, scheduled a "Boosie Speaks" conference to update his fans and the media on his current status. Those who were involved in the conference were rappers such as Bun B, Jeezy and Webbie

Soon after getting all the details of his case out of the way Boosie went straight to what the fans were there for; his music. He commented that while incarcerated he wrote over 1,000 songs and even his own movie titled "Boosie The Movie". Trill Ent.'s rapper seems widely confident is his new music even saying that he has a song for pop star Justin Beiber. When asked about his confidence with his congs Boosie replied, "I feel like what I been hearing these last three, four days on the radio and stuff is different from my music. Like I said, it’s different from my music. And different brings greatness. So, I just feel I stand alone in the music industry to tell you the truth".

As for Boosie's court situation he has a routine court hearing scheduled for Thursday March 15; but with the 1,000+ songs in the rappers notepad the main focus is being drawn away from court hearings and politics, and being focused on when can we hear these new singles??
