Underground Talent of the Week: Fetty Wap

This weeks underground artist literally came out of nowhere in months time with his unique style of catchy hooks and melodic ad-libs. New Jerseys' Fetty Wap rised to the scene of popular hip hop music with his hit single "Trap Queen"; and since then the Patterson project raised rapper has dished out new singles and features left and right earning collaborations with huge names such as Gucci Mane, 50 Cent and Drake.

Fetty has already made a big name for himself setting some ground-breaking marks already in the industry. He has landed a spot in XXL Magazines' "2015 Freshman Class"; not only that but only 2 months ago Wap was awarded the MC100 Award of 2015 by Music Choice, for the most played music video ("Trap Queen") and he landed himself on the Billboard Top 100 chart occupying 3 of the top 20 spots!

Needless to say this young hip-hop artist has easily left his print in the rap game along with legend Eminem, and he also became the first male rapper in four years to have concurrent singles reaching the top 10 of the same chart since Lil Wayne did so in 2011. Fetty Wap developed Glaucoma as a young child and recently doctors could not save the rappers left eye; but don't let the hardcore image of Fetty fool you into thinking he's a gimmick artist, he's as legit as it gets.

But who am I to tell you; as always I shall let you determine this for yourself. He's dropped the single "My Way" feat. Drake but as of now his new radio hit "679" feat. Rem Boyz is what has everyone jumping. Go ahead and have a listen.
