Kendrick Lamar Performs at All-Star Caliber During All-Star Weekend

Compton California's own Kendrick Lamar took his talents down to New Orleans last weekend to give the NBA All Star crowd a performance to remember. Lamar stepped on stage before the NBA's Annual Slam Dunk Competition and what timing seeing as his performance was a slam dunk in itself. Once again starting off the events with a rock-tuned version of his hit "M.A.A.D. City" Kendrick got the audience, athletes and celebrities out of their seats. Half way in K. Dot switched up the tempo to his more mellow hit "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe", even shouted out Jay-z subliminally by spitting some of Jay's Verse on the remix of the song.

After it was all said and done the New Orleans' Smoothie King Center gave the amp'd up artist a standing ovation, which in return Kendrick replied "That's love" before he left the stage. Some of the others to hit the stage that Saturday night included names like Pharrell, Janelle Monae and Earth Wind and Fire.
