Whose On Top in Rap/R&B Album Sales This Week??

With so much explosion of music hits already debuting this year we've some chart topping singles and album debuts from many of artists. But the question still remain who is the top seller right now in the rap/hip-hop community.

The new up and comer Kid Ink has done fairly well out of the underground gate making #6 on the Billboard's Rap Album list for this week; the highest he's been so far just ahead of Andy Mineo and right behind Childish Gambino's "Because of the Internet".

Of course it wouldn't be a list without big names like Drake and BeyonceEminem coming in somewhere on the charts; and they both have reasons to be there. Drake's "Nothing Was The Same" is one of his highest anticipated albums yet while Marshall Mathers hit featuring Rihanna "Monster" has skyrocketed his sales to new heights. Although both artists have shown up for 2014, Drake only comes in at #5 with Eminem above him at #2.

The big name artists all delivered some of the music we love but probably the one with the most experience has done it again coming in at #1. Beyonce Knowles' pop-up, self-titled work "Beyonce" took major notice online due to her incredible work ethic to make a video for each song that she has on her album. Ms. Carter's single "Drunk in Love" was her debut track helping the album sell nearly 1.8 million copies. As of now the album has been available for around 10 weeks which means for her to still be number 1 must mean she's definitely deserving of the spot.
